The devices I'll be working with are the respiratory & acute care items, with which I have previous experience so I'm in for a lot of refreshers from a product/anatomy side plus learning their quality system and processes. The cool thing is that I also have previous experience working with CPAP and polysomnography systems as well, so I can be a backup for those products as needed.
My new VP and Director are both American and I estimate probably about 20-ish additional US expats working there as well.
The company has been around for quite a long time and is well respected in Auckland as one of the few NZ-originated companies who are still based in NZ. The "parent" company, Fisher & Paykel, make appliances that appear to be popular in that part of the world.
