My nephews are very concerned about our proximity to sharks in Auckland, so they made this awesome list for us. I've asked for a list of what to do if we should encounter one of the list entries...

My new company
So the job I've accepted is with Fisher & Paykel Healthcare as Sr. Regulatory Affairs Specialist/Advisor doing pretty much the same type of stuff I do here in Colorado - getting medical devices approved for sales in various around the world (primarily US - since my expertise lies with navigating the FDA waters for medical devices).
The devices I'll be working with are the respiratory & acute care items, with which I have previous experience so I'm in for a lot of refreshers from a product/anatomy side plus learning their quality system and processes. The cool thing is that I also have previous experience working with CPAP and polysomnography systems as well, so I can be a backup for those products as needed.
My new VP and Director are both American and I estimate probably about 20-ish additional US expats working there as well.
The company has been around for quite a long time and is well respected in Auckland as one of the few NZ-originated companies who are still based in NZ. The "parent" company, Fisher & Paykel, make appliances that appear to be popular in that part of the world.
Visa Approval - Check!
Here we go! House purge going into overdrive - almost everything must go, so let us know if you need anything...

New to blogging
I've had so many people ask for photos and updates once we get to New Zealand that I thought a blog might be fun to share our adventure.
Not much to report right now, as we're still waiting on visa approvals. Once that happens, there will be loads of trials and tribulations (and photos) to share.
